For National Pharmacy Week, we’re honored to recognize Robert and Ramona Lima, founders and owners of Lima’s Pharmacy. Together, they built more than a business. They built a legacy of compassion, expertise, and community care.

Since opening the pharmacy’s doors in 1997, Robert and Ramona dedicated their lives to serving Humboldt County with integrity and heart. Their shared vision was to go beyond traditional pharmacy care, offering customized treatment and meaningful connections with every patient.

Robert’s adventurous spirit and dedication left a lasting impression on everyone he served and worked alongside. Though he passed earlier this year, his commitment to innovation, mentorship, and community lives on in the work done every day at Lima’s.

Ramona continues to carry that vision forward, blending her deep pharmaceutical expertise with a passion for wellness and education. Her work in compounding and hormone therapy empowers patients to take charge of their health, reflecting the care and dedication that have defined Lima’s Pharmacy from the beginning. Ramona is deeply involved in the community, sharing her passion for health and wellness through workshops, retreats, and community service.

For nearly three decades, the Limas’ shared commitment to excellence and compassion has shaped the way we serve our community and their legacy continues to inspire us every day.

National Pharmacy Week gives us the chance to recognize every person who helps keep our pharmacy thriving (including those behind the scenes).

Raegan Lima, our Bookkeeper, brings a unique blend of business expertise and holistic wellness to Lima’s. In addition to her work here, she’s a licensed acupuncturist and business owner with more than a decade of experience in holistic care.

Raegan also plays an active role in community education, helping lead wellness workshops and encouraging others to take a whole-person approach to health. We’re so grateful for her care, insight, and commitment to the well-being of our team and patients.

Nina Tillman, our intern pharmacist, brings over 13 years of experience in compounding, retail, and hormone consulting. Her deep knowledge and patient-first approach embody the heart of what pharmacy care is all about.

Beyond her daily work at the pharmacy, Nina plays an integral role in our community outreach and education by collaborating with local wellness organizations and helping lead workshops that empower patients to take charge of their health.

Meet Marvin Ambrosio, our Driver and Antigen Overseer. For the past three years, Marvin has delivered prescriptions across our community with reliability and care. Since the pharmacy’s transition to compounding, his role overseeing antigen logistics reflects his dedication to our patients and his positive spirit that brightens every day.

Today, we’re spotlighting Amanda Gahart, our Compounding Technician since 2021. Amanda specializes in veterinary compounding, creating custom medications for animals of all shapes and sizes. Her care and precision make a difference for every patient (furry or otherwise).
