An exciting upgrade at Modern Movement Chiropractic & Rehab! Recently, we said goodbye to our foam tiles, and rolled out our new gym floor!

Had an opportunity yesterday to present at about all things ergonomics! Squatting, shoveling, sitting, and more! We then went through a couple stretches to help employees take care of themselves and to be proactive against injury!

Active Release Techniques (ART) is an excellent soft tissue technique used to treat conditions such as neck pain, low back pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, headaches, carpal tunnel, sport-related injuries, and more!

Allowing the muscle to go through a full range of motion while under tension can allow us to better release tension in the muscle. This is what separates ART from other soft tissue techniques, which are often more compressive.

If you are suffering from chronic pain, ART may be the answer for you!

We offer many services to support your health! Often, a combination of treatments gets the best results, allowing us to help you find lasting relief! Movement-based chiropractic care helps us find you something short and sweet to do at home to help aid in your recovery, speeding up the process!

Outside of these services, we often have conversations with patients about lifestyle and dietary factors affecting their condition. At times, if changes are not made in someone’s daily life, there is a higher chance of recurring pain.

Yes! We take insurance! We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Blue Choice PPO, and UnitedHealthcare Caterpillar. We also take Medicare patients!

⚠️ Medicare Advantage plans⚠️ We are out-of-network with Medicare Advantage plans. However, many plans have out-of-network chiropractic coverage.

Other companies, such as UnitedHealthcare, UMR, or Health Alliance PPO sometimes have out-of-network coverage. If there is coverage, we will bill your insurance.

We do not accept any HMO plans.

If you have any questions on your insurance policy, please reach out to the office to get those questions answered!

Repost! Meet Dr. Keith Walder

I am a native of Eureka, IL and I am excited to be back serving my community as a Chiropractor!

After receiving chiropractic care and physical therapy for injuries in high school, I decided to pursue a career in chiropractic to provide patients with not only adjustments but also corrective exercise and education.

My patient centered approach focuses on letting the examination guide the treatments given. Getting joints to work together properly is important and provides a pain reprieve; however, if you support the joints post-adjustment with muscular stabilization and corrected movement patterns long-lasting relief can be achieved. Movement problems require movement solutions!

I graduated from Eureka High School in 2018, then attended Eureka College before pursuing my Doctoral degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2024 with both my Doctorate and Bachelor of Science degrees.

In my free time, I spend time with my wife, Mikayla, lift weights, run, spend time with family and friends, read educational material, and attend continuing education courses.

Case Study!

A patient presented with chronic jaw pain and clicking/popping while eating. Initially, Active Release Techniques (ART) was used and provided considerable relief. After working through several other treatment options that struggled to yield results, we introduced dry needling. After two needling sessions, the patient was left with mild pain at random times! This was a big step for this patient, who had suffered for many years with limited relief.

At Modern Movement Chiropractic & Rehab, we employ a range of treatment styles to address the root cause and provide lasting relief .
