A huge shoutout to our IT guy and the incredible IT team at Greenwood County Hospital for working tirelessly to get everything back up and running. Your dedication, responsiveness, and expertise truly made the difference.

We also want to extend a sincere thank you to our patients for your patience and understanding during this time. Your support means everything to us.

We’ve been made aware of an increase in scam phone calls targeting Medicare patients in our area.

⚠️ What to watch for:
• Calls asking for your Medicare number or personal information
• Claims that you need a “new card” or “updated benefits”
• Offers for “free” medical equipment or services
• High-pressure tactics or threats

❗ REMEMBER:
Medicare will NOT call you to ask for personal or billing information.

🛑 Protect yourself:
• Never give out personal information over the phone
• Hang up on suspicious calls

Today, we pause to remember three of the incredible pharmacists who helped shape what pharmacy means to our community—Mark McMullen, Jerry Handley, and Ted Mariani.

These men were more than pharmacists. They were trusted advisors, friendly faces, and steady hands for generations of families here in Eureka. They built relationships that went far beyond prescriptions—taking the time to listen, to care, and to truly know their patients. Their impact is still felt today in the way we strive to serve each and every one of you.

We are grateful for the foundation they built, the compassion they showed, and the standard they set. It’s a legacy we’re proud to carry forward every single day at Eureka Pharmacy.

Many of you may recognize Carrie—she was a friendly face here at the pharmacy back in 2016, and we’re so excited to welcome her back to the team!
