Today my heart weeps.
-The division and lack of compassion for our fellow man burdens me with a weight unimaginable in my soul.
-I sigh.
-I take a deep deep breath and reach inside.
-To find the strength to walk forward through this day.
-Looking for, believing in, having faith in that which pulled me from the depths of Hell can return us to a state of Grace.

As I sit in the discomfort of fear,
I recognize it can consume me.
Swirling within and around.
As I sit for another moment,
I'm reminded of the faith, the happiness that pushes out the fear.
As I hold to that,
Peace fills me. Peace envelopes me.
I walk in and through this day peacefully in joy.

As I step away from the winter's cold I recognize it's significant impact.
I feel a weeping in my soul.
Now with the warmth returning and the ability to be outside I notice Joy.
I Smile.
