As part of our ongoing commitment to meet the health needs of the community, we are transitioning to a comprehensive family practice under our new name, Lake Family Wellness. We are striving to continue to the legacy of Dr. Steven Tang. Our providers are extending our practice to patients of all ages.

Our busy family practice is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Office Insurance Specialist to join our team! If you enjoy working behind the scenes to keep a practice running smoothly and accurately — we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do:
✔️ Prepare & submit insurance claims
✔️ Use accurate CPT, modifiers, and ICD-10 coding
✔️ Review charts and office notes for completeness
✔️ Manage referrals and prepare referral letters
✔️ Verify documentation for billing accuracy
✔️ Follow up on denied/unpaid claims
✔️ Work within our EMR/EHR systems

We’re looking for someone who:
🔹 Has proven medical billing experience in a medical office
🔹 Understands coding and compliance guidelines
🔹 Can review documentation and assign appropriate codes
🔹 Has experience with patient referrals
🔹 Has strong attention to detail and professionalism

We’re Hiring: Medical Assistant/Check-Out Desk

Lake Family Wellness is looking for a friendly, reliable Medical Assistant to join our busy primary care/family practice team! We’re seeking a team player who works well with others, communicates clearly, and isn’t afraid to jump in and help wherever needed. This position is primarily at the check-out desk, but you’ll also assist with general medical assistant duties as needed.

✨ No MA certification required!
Experience is helpful, but we are happy to train the right candidate who is eager to learn.

Responsibilities include:
• Scheduling diagnostic tests and imaging
• Scheduling follow-up appointments
• Sending referrals to specialists
• Completing prior authorizations
• Assisting with MA duties as needed
• Providing excellent, compassionate patient service

Angel Tree at Lake Family Wellness ❤️🎄

We’re so excited to kick off a brand-new tradition of giving back to the families and children in our community this holiday season. Our temporary Angel Tree is now up in the lobby while we get our Christmas tree ready and it’s already filling our office with so much joy!

If you feel called to lend a little extra magic this year, simply stop by, select an angel tag, and choose a local child to shop for. All gifts can be dropped off in the donation box located right in our lobby. These donations go directly to children in our area who need a little extra support this season, and all contributions are tax deductible.
