Hi! I wanted to take some time to introduce myself.
I’m Janelle, a pediatric occupational therapist who is passionate about helping children build confidence, independence, and joy in their everyday lives. I believe every child is unique and deserves support that honors their strengths, interests, and individual sensory needs.
As an OT, I work closely with families to create meaningful, play-based therapy that helps children develop skills for daily activities such as self-care, fine motor skills, emotional regulation, and participation at home and school. My approach is child-led, supportive, and rooted in evidence-based practices—while always keeping fun at the center of therapy. My goal is to empower both children and caregivers with tools and strategies that carry over into real life.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have an almost 3-year-old son who keeps me on my toes as an OT. He is a sensory seeker and loves all things running, jumping, and crashing. I also have a fantastic husband who I can’t thank enough for his support, silliness, and willingness to help our own child grow. Oh and we have a cat and a dog! They love to play too! My favorite things are sunsets and nature
