Today I was blessed to go explore on a farm in Loris for a private plant walk. This land has an abundance of Vervain! Gahhhh, makes me drool! Vervain (Verbena sp.) is an herb that is cooling to the body and relaxing on the nervous system. I recommend it for those who experience anxiety and are under lots of pressure. It can also contribute to pain relief, studies show, so we work with it in our blends for discomfort (it’s safe for people and pups 🫶🏽). It’s quite bitter, so I don’t recommend drinking it, I prefer to encapsulate it or consume as a tincture. Down the hatch real quick so it can get to working in the body! Vervain can be identified by small clusters of flowers at the top (colors will vary depending on species). It has a square hairy stem and slender, coarse veiny leaves that present in pairs, opposite sides of the stem 🌱

Deo is 50% off while they last because I am over these Kraft tubes 😁 We’ve gotten complaints over the years but kept going in the name of sustainability and today I have determined that it is best for us to go back to plastic containers. It was not for lack of trying, but these kraft tubes just aren’t working. It shouldn’t be this much work just to apply deodorant. Iykyk!! That being said - run and grab you some and stock up - men’s and women’s scents are on sale 💜 We are officially going back to plastic containers. If you want to switch companies, we get it. Otherwise, we thank you for “sticking” it out with ABĒCA Naturals! Hehe 🤣

In a perfect world, we’d only source ALL our herbs from local farms, but as it stands we currently purchase several ingredients from brokers and farmers across the world. Do know one thing - quality is important to us. If it’s not wild crafted or USDA certified, it’s only sourced from a farm where we speak directly to the team and know the cultivation process.
