Our Story

Margaret M. Renew, MD

I am a Board Certified Pediatrician and a fellow member of the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatricians. I see patients from Birth to 21 years of age. I was born in Savannah, GA, but grew up in Swainsboro, GA. I attended Berry College in Rome, GA, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. I went on to attend the Medical College of Georgia and completed my residency there. I have lived in Augusta since then and have been in private practice since 1999. I currently hold privileges at University Hospital, Doctorโ€™s Hospital, and the Childrenโ€™s Hospital of Georgia. My husband Tom and I have two wonderful children: Zoe is a Physicianโ€™s Assistant here in Augusta and Zachary is currently in graduate school working towards being a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. We also have three beautiful grandchildren: Caden, Cooper, and Dawson.

Susan Goldberg, MD

I am a Board Certified Pediatrician and Certified Lactation Consultant. I see patients from Birth to 21 years of age. I am originally from the Southeast but have been in Augusta for over 10 years now. I attended the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, where I received my Bachelor of Chemical Engineering. I went on to attend Emory University School of Medicine and completed my residency there. I have been in private practice with The Pediatric Office since 2013. I currently hold privileges at University Hospital and the Childrenโ€™s Hospital of Georgia. My husband Jason and I have two wonderful children: Ben and Morgan.
