In August I took some time off to have my baby and enjoy time with my family. Maternity leave lasted a little longer than I had anticipated it would, but I’m grateful for it. What are tension headaches?
Tension headaches are headaches caused by the tightness and pulling of muscles in the face, neck, and shoulders. And because everything in the body is connected, these headaches can even be caused by tension in the low back all the way down to the feet. Posture, injury, and activities can affect these headaches. Thankfully massage can help!

When I have clients come in experiencing these headaches, I do an injury protocol on their neck and shoulders. This protocol ensures that all the muscles are worked through individually and gently. From there I move on to any other areas of the body that could be contributing to this tension. The results and client feedback has been AMAZING.
