Position Summary:
We are seeking a professional receptionist to be the patient first point of contact at the site. Available for immediate full-time employment in keeping our regional community's exposure to COVID-19 under control during the national emergency and/or global pandemic. The operation is designed to limit exposure both to the patient and the location staff. You should be able to correctly perform the job duties listed below while also being compassionate. Each patient should be treated with care and attention. It is important to demonstrate empathy and understanding.
Duties/Responsibilities:
-Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner.
-Greet patients in a professional empathetic manner, and answer any questions visitors have.
-Accurately verify demographics and check-in/out patients.
-Schedule patient appointments.
-Ensure a clean and safe workspace.
-Contribute to the overall success of test site.
-Work collaboratively to ensure best patient care is provided.
-Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
-Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times.
-Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computer.
-Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received.
-Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail.
-Take inventory of supplies and restock as needed.
-Maintain the general office filing system.
Required Skills:
-Excellent written and communication skills.
-Attention to detail and high levels of organization.
-Ability to work in a dynamic work environment that adjusts based on community need.
Experience:
-Receptionist: 2+ years
-Bilingual a plus, not required.
-Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
Schedule:
-Seeking full-time employees.
-Multiple shifts available; days, nights, weekends.
