See the Person. Support the Journey. 💚

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to slow down and truly see one another. Mental health is part of everyday life. It shapes how we feel, how we connect, and how we move through each day.

For the consumers and communities we serve, this month is about being more present. It is about checking in, listening with intention, and responding with compassion when it matters most. Mental health touches every part of life, from relationships to stability, which is why caring for the whole person is so important.

We also recognize that mental health and substance use are often connected. Supporting both with understanding and without judgment is key to real healing and long term well being.

Stigma grows in silence, but healing begins when people feel seen, supported, and not alone.

This month, alongside National Alliance on Mental Illness, we stand with our community and remind everyone that you are never alone. 💚

Please help us celebrate Jose Neveros, Maintenance Technician, our Employee of the Year!

Jose is the definition of dependable. Behind the scenes, he works tirelessly to keep Albany Care safe, comfortable, and running smoothly for our consumers, and staff. His attention to detail, strong work ethic, and willingness to step in wherever help is needed make a daily difference throughout our building.

Whether it’s fixing an issue before it becomes a problem or responding quickly when something needs attention, Jose takes pride in his work and it shows. His dedication, reliability, and positive attitude make him an essential part of our team.

We are proud to recognize Jose Neveros for the care he puts into everything he does and for the role he plays in creating a place our residents can truly call home. Congratulations on being named Employee of the Year! 💙
