Big news at ITA! 🧡

After three years of dedicated leadership, Chrissy Dale will be stepping into an exciting new role as Executive Director at Laughlin Children’s Center in Pittsburgh. We’re so grateful for her vision and steady leadership, which helped ITA grow in incredible ways.

At the same time, we’re thrilled to announce Jeffrey Wolfe as ITA’s new CEO beginning September 1! With 15 years of experience at ITA and a deep commitment to Creative Arts Therapy, Jeff is the perfect leader to guide us into the future.

We’re just past the halfway point of our Healthy Aging through Music pilot program—part of Musical Bridges to Memory™! 🎶

Over the past several weeks, caregiver–participant pairs have shared moving moments of joy, connection, and community through live music, small group conversations, and ongoing support. 💜

With a few weeks left in the pilot, we’re inspired by the impact we’re seeing and excited for what’s still ahead.

The Institute for Therapy through the Arts (ITA) is offering Healthy Aging through Creative Connection — an Art Therapy group designed for older adults seeking meaningful connection and creative expression in a supportive environment.

This ongoing group is aphasia-inclusive and specially designed for individuals living with dementia, memory loss, and/or aphasia. Guided by a licensed art therapist, participants engage in creative arts therapy to support well-being and connection.

🗓 Wednesdays | 2–3 PM
📍 1316 Sherman Ave, Evanston, IL
💵 $100 per session
✅ Select BCBS plans accepted
✅ Financial aid available
✅ Medicaid options beginning Fall 2025
