Let’s be real for a second...
—> have you peed yourself with double unders?
—> have you peed yourself with heavy squats?
—> wondered what “core” means? or what “pelvic health” means?
Join us Wednesday October 29th from 5:30pm-6:30pm for a workshop from Link Physical Therapy (https://www.linkpt.org/), hosted by Sharp Edge Physical Therapy, to help find answers to your questions!
The “CORE” muscles work together to control intraabdominal pressure appropriate for the task at hand. When they function properly, these core muscles can help maximize stability, power, and efficiency. Deficits in these muscles may lead to issues with back pain, bladder control, digestion, breathing, sexual function.
In this workshop, you will:
-Learn about the deep “core” muscles and the importance in everyday function and performance.
-See these muscles directly with a live demonstration of Real-Time Musculoskeletal Ultrasound
-Practice exercises that help you activate your deep core muscles properly to improve efficiency in your movements
-Self screen for pelvic health and musculoskeletal issues and when to see an expert
