We recently held a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association and the Parkinson’s Foundation. It was a Hawaiian BBQ Luau, and we were able to raise $1,000 for each organization from the proceeds from ticket sales and a silent auction! We are so happy to support these 2 organizations which are both very important to many residents in our community. Thank you to all who bought a ticket to attend, made a donation, and donated items for our silent auction!

Our residents recently hit the runway in a fabulous fashion show, proving that style has no age limit!

Special thanks to Joe & Bella, an adaptive apparel company, for showcasing their Spring collection at Trulee Evanston. Residents living in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care strutted with confidence, highlighting clothing that combines both style and functionality. Joe & Bella's innovative designs make dressing easier, safer, and more dignified for seniors, transforming the fashion landscape for older adults.

A big thank you to PS Salon and Spa for making our models runway-ready with stunning hair styling, and Ten Thousand Villages Evanston for providing the perfect accessories to complete their looks. Our residents felt like royalty!

One of our caring and talented servers, Opal, is a college student studying Fashion Design. All summer long, our residents enjoyed seeing Opal’s smiling face in our dining room and begged for Opal to show them the clothing they have made! Before they went back to college this fall, Opal had some friends and family come model for a Fashion Show at Trulee so our residents could see some of their work. It was a huge success and everyone loved seeing the creativity shine through Opal’s handmade designs! Thank you Opal, for sharing your passion with our residents!
