It’s National Dog Day, and we’re celebrating one of our favorite calming presences at Connections: Millie. 🐶💚

Currently in training to become a therapy dog, Millie already brings warmth, gentleness, and a grounding presence to our space—one tail wag at a time.

💬 Have you had a dog in your life that brings you comfort and support? We’d love to hear how they’ve made a difference.

🌟 We’re halfway through the year—take a moment to recognize your growth. Every step forward matters, whether it’s a major milestone or a quiet personal shift.

Maybe you've discovered new strengths, created healthier routines, or let go of habits that no longer serve you. That’s worth celebrating.

Honor your wins—big and small—and give yourself the space to keep growing with intention. You deserve it.

From day one, Andrea has been a steady hand and a kind heart behind the scenes.

As she gets ready for retirement, we’re reflecting on the many ways she’s shaped our team, supported our clients, and made this practice what it is. 💛

We’ll miss her deeply, but we’re so excited for her next chapter.

Join us in celebrating Andrea and wishing her the very best in her next chapter! 💐

Have you ever had a moment that just didn’t feel right—but you couldn’t explain why?

Maybe it felt confusing, uncomfortable, or hard to name.
At Connections Health, our therapists offer a compassionate space to talk through experiences around consent, boundaries, and emotional discomfort without rushing to label anything.

In our latest blog, we share how therapy can help you explore those moments at your own pace, in your own words.

💬 You deserve support that meets you where you are.

Pride Month is more than a celebration - it’s an opportunity to reflect, learn, and take meaningful action. Being an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community means showing up with intention, compassion, and consistency in June and every day.

Here are five ways to deepen your allyship:
✅ Listen actively. Make space for LGBTQIA+ voices, especially those at the intersections of multiple identities.

✅ Educate yourself. Explore LGBTQIA+ history, culture, and lived experiences. Borrow books from your local library, follow q***r creators, or read trusted sources online.

✅ Speak up. Challenge bias, discrimination, and microaggressions when you see or hear them. Silence reinforces harm.

✅ Affirm identities. Use the names and pronouns people share with you. It may seem like a small gesture, but it sends a powerful message of respect and belonging.

✅ Support access to care. Everyone deserves mental health support that is inclusive, identity-affirming, and provides a safe space.

Looking to grow in your allyship? This guide from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation is a great place to start:

Let’s continue building a community together where everyone feels seen, safe, and supported.
