A Little Bit About Me

My name is Cecilia. I'm a psychotherapist specializing in helping teenage and adult women who are feeling stressed, anxious, depressed, isolated, angry, down on themselves, or confused about who they are and want to be.

I have experience treating various mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, and problems associated with stress at work/home/school, identity, life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, grief and loss, and trauma.

My approach is to understand your history of relationships (friends, family, colleagues, loved ones, etc.,) and how your view of your roles in those relationships have impacted your ideas about your identity. I believe all of these factors greatly impact your expectations of yourself and others and how you navigate the world around you.

Clients have told me I've helped them connect the dots, be more authentic, and make more constructive choices. I have also been called a Ghostbuster. When I hear feedback like that, I know I'm doing my job! For me, there’s nothing quite like the energy in the room when good "work" is being done in a session.
