Just a gentle reminder as we continue moving through the end of the year......

“Irritability is often a signal, not a character flaw. It often shows up when sadness, grief, loneliness, fear or disappointment don’t have enough space or relief. It’s protective, not moral.”

Perhaps the work is recognizing the need irritability is pointing out to us and then gently accepting the responsibility of addressing that need rather than chastising and shaming
ourselves for how we feel. Perhaps that will make all the difference.

Perhaps the kindest question we can ask and prayer we can whisper is.....

"What is the need and how can I meet or mend it? 💕

All of us at Always Hope Counseling are wishing you a Warm and Comforting and Happy Thanksgiving.

We are deeply grateful for the work we’re entrusted with and for the privilege of walking alongside the wonderful people who come through our doors.

Over the next few days, we will be taking a bit of time to rest and recover and celebrate Thanksgiving. Our offices will be closed for the holiday weekend and reopen on Monday at 9:00 a.m. Please feel free to leave a message and we will get back with you then.
