Congratulations to Michelle Daily, Assistant Director of Nursing, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025, who was celebrated last night at the Quest for Excellence award banquet at the Marriott in Indianapolis. The Quest for Excellence award is the highest level of recognition an ASC employee can receive, honoring those who exhibit a compassionate and dedicated approach that surpasses their typical job requirements.

🎉💙✨Please help us in congratulating Tyrone Morris on being chosen as the Rookie of the Month for November. Tyrone came to Columbia Healthcare and went through the NAIT (Nursing Aide in Training) program. After completing his hours, training, and passing the exam, he is now a CNA. We are incredibly thankful for his hard work and dedication. Tyrone is already one to watch, and we cannot wait to see how far he goes. ✨👏

Congratulations Michelle Daily, Assistant Director of Nursing, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.

Michelle, "Micki", is an exceptional Assistant Director of Nursing whose unwavering dedication, clinical expertise, and leadership make her an invaluable asset to Columbia Healthcare and ASC. Micki consistently ensures high standards of patient care while also fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for staff.

Micki’s journey in long-term care started 32 years ago as a CNA. Her love of caring for residents and the ability to make an impact on the lives of others is what drives her every day. Micki is celebrating 19 years of dedicated service with ASC this year and it is a privilege to have her as a part of our team. Her ability to lead with compassion and professionalism inspires confidence and respect among her colleagues. She is known for her proactive approach to solving challenges, her strong communication skills, and her commitment to continuous improvement. Whether she’s mentoring new nurses, stepping in during critical situations, or streamlining care processes, she does so with integrity and a calm, confident presence.

Outside of work, Micki enjoys spending time with her 2 daughters, Madison and Maleah. Micki also enjoys traveling and experiencing new places. She recently took up golf and is looking forward to a PGA invite soon!

Columbia Healthcare and ASC are truly fortunate to have a leader like Micki. Her contributions have a lasting impact, not only on the quality of care delivered but, on the morale and growth of the entire nursing team.

✨🌟RESIDENT SUCCESS STORY🌟✨

We are delighted to share the success story of Mr. Randall Bailey. Following a fall from his bicycle and subsequent admission to Columbia Healthcare, Mr. Bailey was diagnosed with sepsis, a urinary tract infection, significant weakness, and strep. Through collaborative efforts, our dedicated Therapy team assisted Mr. Bailey in regaining his strength, while our clinical team facilitated the completion of his six-week IV antibiotics. During his residency, Mr. Bailey expressed his appreciation for the staff, enjoyed our activities, especially the casino (Bingo), and always had a smile on his face. 😊

Mr. Bailey was admitted to Columbia Healthcare using a wheelchair, able to walk a few feet with assistance, with a rolling walker, and he was discharged ambulatory and device-free. 👏🏼🎉🌟
