Here at Oasis we love to welcome students and teachers to explore the world of dementia in assisted living! Thank you to Mrs. Sinnott and her class for coming by and engaging with our neighbors. The students got the ability to engage with the neighbors by doing music sing along, bowling, and bubble catching outside! The neighbors enjoyed the company and Oasis sends a big thank you to the Warrick Pathways and Career Center for allowing the students to explore Oasis.

The departments at Oasis are having a Penny War! Feel free to contribute to the Penny War! All donations will go to the Alzheimer's Foundation! The department with the most amount of pennies and the least amount of silver coins win! The winners get to pie the losers on Monday!

Next week from September 8th to 12th we will be celebrating National Assisted Living week! The theme for this years assisted living week is Ageless Adventures! Help us celebrate with all the festivities we will have!

We will have decorated door competitions!
Along with dress up days!

Monday the 8th- Hispanic day
Tuesday the 9th- Western Day
Wednesday the 10th- Sock Hop Day
Thursday the 11th- Occupation Day
Friday the 12th- The Annual Llama Luau Day!

We would love to see families participating in the dress days to put a smile on the faces of our neighbors!

Here at Oasis we love trying out new activities to see what our neighbors like best! Recently we had our gorgeous grandma party where our neighbors got pampered and we had our car wash to make sure our neighbors rides were squeaky clean!
