Carolyn Jane Photography Hi! I'm Carolyn Schottel and I love to capture moments in the equestrian environment! Sharing the My obsession with horses began at age 12!

Since then, I have graduated with a BS in Equine Science, held a career in the horse industry, helped create a 501c3 Therapeutic Riding Center and focused on becoming a certified riding instructor. My passion and life mission is to help people understand how horses can truly impact our lives! Not all of my art is about the horse and rider though, I love to do macro-photography, capture beautiful landscapes and nature, and photograph people in their element.

I have decided to take a step back from a professional photography business and continue as a hobby photographer. That just means that I will be doing a lot less photography, but it means that I get to spend more time on my other passion as a Certified Therapeutic Riding instructor for Healing Reins of Kentucky! Please don't hesitate to ask about photo sessions, I just have a limited schedule. I really enjoyed this beautiful session with Sydney and Cullin, such an adorable couple and returning client.
