Hello! I'm Tiffany Hutchens, owner of Move Better Healing Therapies in Evansville, IN.

I believe that human beings have infinite capacity to grow and change- my own journey is proof of it. I have learned that you cannot separate your lived- experience from your body, but with compassionate support we can open to the wisdom that it holds for us.
Communing with nature and finding moments to be playful are not only integral to my personal well-being, but are woven into my approach as a practitioner as well. My hope is to be a conduit as you move through your own challenges.

I feel so grateful to combine my 15+ years of Kinesiology and Orthopedic bodywork with extensive study into Somatics-
how we feel our bodies from within. Somatic Experiencing provides a compassionate and confidential container for exploring what makes us feel stressed, sick, and stuck. You will learn about your Autonomic (automatic) nervous system and why it's primary job is to keep you alive, not happy. With guidance you will come to understand your physiological needs more clearly and experience a gentle way to alleviate stress and trauma.

Somatic Experiencing Therapy is helpful for those who have experienced:

In Somatics we embrace the notion of "the smallest effective dose" because even something that is good for us can happen too fast and feel like too much. The nervous system has been in fight or flight mode for too long, decades perhaps and it will only relent when new information is presented

SLOWLY... GENTLY... and with ample TIME TO INTEGRATE.

If your system feels repulsed by those words then I'd say it's time to explore Somatic Experiencing Therapy.

Not sure how 'your system feels about words' then guess what? Somatics can guide you in that experience as well.

Much like a disease that tells you you don't have a disease/ problem, so is a body stuck in survival states. You don't know what you haven't sensed introceptively and I'll tell ya, the mental and physical 'trip'of becoming EMBODIED and experiencing coherence with another being is MAGICAL and certainly one you cannot comprehend 2nd hand.

I offer a free weekly Somatics group Sundays at 3pm CST that allows you to taste test what it's like to experience a ventral vagal state and build up your capacity to be impervious to the s**t that life keeps throwing at you!

I am a huge proponent of AT HOME SELF CARE for all of my clients. The truth is, multiple "touches" make all the difference and if YOU are empowered to do it yourself then maybe next injury you will have a starting point to think self treat!

💥 Autonomy is the goal and goes a long way in building that brain-body-nervous sys connection!

Our Story

Orthopedic Massage uses therapeutic techniques to alleviate muscle pain and movement restrictions. We primarily treat athletes and individuals who wish to stay active through all of life’s stages. The following is an outline of our treatment plan.

We hope this helps you see our approach to massage therapy. We have studied far outside the lines of bodywork to understand what truly builds a resilient body. There are plenty of places to get a full body massage that will help you feel better. But we want to help you move better, know better, live better, and feel better!


  • 1.Client’s experience of pain, therapist-observed movement dysfunctions, focus is on relieving immediate pain, but also prioritizing subsequent concerns. Encompasses information provided in intake form through the 2nd or 3rd appointment.

  • 2.Whole- health examination to identify contributing habits: ergonomics, bio-mechanics/ joint range of motion, functional strength for longevity, hydration, nutrition, and stress management. Discussed over 2nd -4th appointments with daily adjustments a must for success.
