In honor of National Law Enforcement Day…. We treated the State Police and local police Department with a sweet treat! Evansville is lucky to have such amazing officers to help keep us safe! River Bend thanks you all for you service! 💙

🎄A Little Extra Christmas Cheer at River Bend🎄

This season has been full of meaningful moments, laughter, and the kind of joy that reminds us why we do what we do. From our Christmas Cookie Therapy Group, where smiles were just as important as the treats, to the beautiful gift of music shared by Andrew Dekemper—grandson of Ray Duesner, music teacher, and Choir Director at Helfrich Park STEM Academy—and the incredible Helfrich Park STEM Academy Choir filling our halls with Christmas carols that truly touched our residents’ hearts.

We were also surprised with a visit from our former NP, Diane Hancock, who showed up rocking the best ugly Christmas sweater😂, spreading laughs and holiday spirit!

And we capped it all off with a festive Resident Christmas Party full of cheer, connection, and celebration. Moments like these—music, movement, memories, and community—are what make the holidays so special here. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this season bright for our residents.

🎄 Holiday Cheer with an Amazing Team 🎄

Our annual staff Christmas party was full of fun, laughter, and holiday cheer! From festive games and friendly competition to great food, amazing prizes, and plenty of gifts, it was the perfect way to celebrate the season together.

We’re so grateful for this hardworking team and the joy, energy, and dedication they bring every day. Moments like this are a reminder that while we work hard, we also know how to celebrate together.

🎄Kicking Off the Christmas Season at River Bend!

Christmas cheer is filling our entire facility as festive decorations go up and our residents happily join in helping to decorate. Therapy Christmas themed groups have begun with creating fresh, handcrafted greenery door hangers, adding even more holiday spirit.🥰

We’re also incredibly grateful for the generous Christmas donations from the PT Solutions St. Vincent Inpatient Rehab Team—your kindness means so much to our residents. ❤️

It’s only December 10th, and the season is just beginning. We look forward to many more joyful moments ahead!

The cold temperatures are among us and River Bend would like to help keep the community warm by collecting donations to be delivered to the Echo Clinic. Every small donation helps! If you would like to help, please drop off your donation to one of our collection boxes at the facility. We have one at the front entrance as well as the entrance upstairs. Thank you for help! 🙏
