G.L.A.D., INC In 1981, our founder, Nancy VanHoose, received a phone call about adopting a baby boy that would change her life and the lives of many others forever. G.L.A.D.

She and her husband were able to adopt that baby boy, and, in 1987, G.L.A.D. was formed. We offer women is an Indiana-licensed adoption agency. is an acronym for Greater Love Adoption Decision. The name shows two significant parts of adoption, the greater love it takes to consider adoption and how glad the adoptive family is to have their ordinary dream of having a family finally come true because of the extraordinary act of placing a child for adoption. We are a Christian agency dedicated to being progressive, innovative and open. Know that we recognize the difficult feelings you are going through. Our simple intention is to help in the most compassionate way possible. We offer choices to birth parents in crisis pregnancies. You may choose the parents who will adopt your child and have the opportunity to meet and interview the parents chosen. You may choose an adoption plan that will allow you to communicate with the adoptive family, design an adoption plan that best suits your particular needs or prefer a traditional, closed adoption. You need not make decisions concerning the adoption of your child alone. We will address the importance of any questions you may have concerning adoption and provide qualified, Christian counseling throughout your decision making and beyond. A myriad of home study services is available through G.L.A.D. We provide home study services for families considering both domestic and international adoptions. We provide home study services for families pursuing private adoptions. Home studies for step parent adoptions are also available

Hello Friends!

Our annual Walking for Dreams fundraiser in May was a success! We want to thank everyone who was able to come out and walk for GLAD. It is always such a joy to see GLAD so strongly represented at this event! With the support of our donors, we were able to raise $29,458.09!! This event is our largest fundraiser and ensures that GLAD can continue to assist women in stressful pregnancies and mothers facing life stressors.

We are participating in our 7th Annual Walking for Dreams! We would love to have your support this year. Our fundraising goal is $25,000 and we are less than $4,000 away from reaching that goal! If we have the most walkers at the event we can get a $6,000 donation from Walking for Dreams! With these donations GLAD can continue providing free counseling, financial assistance, transportation, and resourcing to pregnant women considering adoption.
