In addition to housekeeping week, we also celebrated Rehab Week! 🩵
Our therapy team (Kelly, Nicole, Heather, Suzanne and Logan) hosted a fun week which included dress up days and a bake sale! 🍪 The bake sale raised money to donate to our local community center.
We’re proud to have such outstanding therapy staff to help our residents reach their goals, maintain their independence, and regain function after an illness or injury! 💪

Our housekeepers keep the light fixtures so clean they’re blinding! 😎🤣 Really though, did you know it’s International Housekeepers Week? Our housekeepers deserve a huge shoutout! Tina, Jill, Richie and Sharona work so hard. They keep our building sparkling clean and free of germs while still maintaining that cozy, welcoming, homelike environment! 🏠 🧽
Did I mention they know how to have fun while doing it?

As you may know, the parade route on July 4th goes through our driveway and past our main entrance. While we love celebrating with the community, we ask that you please respect our residents by not gathering on the sidewalk in front of our building so they may have that space to enjoy the parade with their families 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒. Thank you for your help in supporting our residents and helping make their experience at Evansville Manor the best one! 🫶🏻

The May employee of the Month award goes to…. 🥁 🥁 … Cheryl!
Many people say they’ve devoted their life to their job, but not many can say it quite like Cheryl can! She has been employed at Evansville Manor for 43 years! 👏🏻 👏🏻
Cheryl provides outstanding care to our residents, many of them complimenting the care she gives, stating she treats them with dignity and respect. Residents state that care from Cheryl feels like a day at the spa. 😎
Thank you Cheryl for your years of devotion to our facility and our residents. Your hard work does not go unnoticed! 🩵
