As we wrap up Nursing Home Week, we want to take a moment to celebrate what truly makes our facility so special—our incredible staff and amazing residents ❤️

This week has been full of fun, laughter, and memories, and we ended it the best way we know how—with a grill out, time spent outdoors, and games enjoyed together in the sunshine ☀️

To our staff: thank you for your compassion, dedication, and the joy you bring each day. You go above and beyond to make this not just a workplace, but a home.

To our residents: thank you for the smiles, stories, and the sense of family you create. You are the heart of everything we do.

We are so grateful for this community and the moments we share—this week was just a small glimpse of that 💙

Today, we were honored to host a beautiful Veteran Pinning Ceremony organized by Moments Hospice for our resident, Joe, a service-connected Navy veteran. 🇺🇸⚓

The ceremony included prayer, heartfelt poems, patriotic songs sung together, and a special pinning presentation to recognize and thank Joe for his service and sacrifice. Moments Hospice also gifted Joe a new veteran hat and blanket to commemorate the occasion.

It was a truly touching ceremony filled with gratitude, patriotism, and support from Joe’s family, fellow staff members, and friends. Thank you to Moments Hospice for helping us honor one of our heroes in such a meaningful way. ❤️🤍

Day 4 of Nursing Home Week was all about getting our hands dirty for Gardener Day! 🌼🪴 Staff dressed the part while residents helped plant a beautiful flower bed to brighten our grounds for spring.

We were having so much fun that we completely forgot to snap pictures during the planting — but we promise the smiles, laughter, and teamwork made it a blooming success! 🌸💚

Today we turned up the sunshine for Tropical Day during Nursing Home Week! 🌴☀️ Staff and residents had so much fun dressing in their favorite tropical outfits and bringing all the island vibes to the day.

A huge thank you to Bristol Hospice for sponsoring a delicious ice cream social for our residents and staff — it was the perfect sweet treat for a warm and fun-filled day! 🍦💕

The fun didn’t stop there! Staff and residents have also been hard at work teaming up and searching for clues in our Nursing Home Week scavenger hunt. We love seeing everyone laughing, participating, and making memories together all week long! 💙

Day 2 of Nursing Home Week was full of fun at Evansville Manor! 💙

Today we enjoyed pizza for all shifts, celebrated Pajama Day, and kicked off our scavenger hunt for both staff and residents! 🍕🛏️🔎

It’s been so much fun seeing everyone participate, laugh together, and enjoy the activities throughout the building. Thank you to our amazing staff for all you do and to our wonderful residents for making every day special! Stay tuned for more Nursing Home Week fun! 🎉

Day 1 of Nursing Home Week was far out! 🌼✌️

Our “Flower Power” theme brought lots of smiles with floral outfits, flower headbands, and fun throughout the building for both staff and residents!
