From underutilized to inspiring, the Jody Richards Hall Student Technology Center renovation at Western Kentucky University brings new life to this media center known as The Hub. Recognizing that college students spend countless hours studying and collaborating in spaces like this, the reimagined lab was designed to create a modern, welcoming environment that fosters connection, productivity and WKU pride.

The redesign improves access to Topper Tech and offers a variety of gathering spaces, including computer workstations, study booths, meeting areas, and quiet reading nooks. Shipping container-inspired meeting spaces and decorative acoustical dividers add character while enhancing privacy throughout the space. Murals, graphics, and WKU’s signature red, white, and black colors are woven throughout the design, creating a vibrant atmosphere that celebrates the Hilltopper spirit.

Welcome to Camp Hafer! 🏕️✨ This year’s Employee Appreciation Week is all about celebrating the fun, teamwork and spirit that make our staff so special!

Everyone has been divided into cabins for a week full of friendly competition, team bonding and camp-inspired fun. We kicked things off Monday with lunch and the big reveal of cabin names and chants — all part of the competition, of course!

Tuesday, we “hiked” to breakfast and rocked our craziest socks, and today featured tie dye day and fishing for prizes! 🎣

We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings!

Summer in Mount Vernon is about to look a whole lot different! ☀️💦

We’ve loved partnering with the Mt. Vernon Parks and Recreation Department to help bring the new Brittlebank Pool to life. This new outdoor aquatic center will be a future destination for families, recreation and community for Mount Vernon and the surrounding area.

We’re excited to see this vision continue to take shape!

We enjoyed our afternoon in Jasper on Friday celebrating the kickoff of the new Regional Wellness Center project!

This exciting partnership between JasperGov - Indiana and the Tri-County YMCA is bringing a dynamic new space focused on physical, social and emotional wellness. The facility will include three full-size basketball courts, an auxiliary gym, an elevated track overlooking the gyms, a variety of exercise studios, and community-centered spaces such as a community kitchen and dedicated teen and intergenerational areas.

Thoughtfully designed inside and out, the exterior reflects the character of Jasper, while the interior brings the YMCA brand to life with splashes of teal, warm wood textures and cool tones.
