Say hello to Peace Zone’s new Executive Director, Kaitlyn Brewer!

Kaitlyn is an Evansville west side resident with her partner, Andy, their dog, Zoey, and their two cats, Bubby and Lucy. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Southern Indiana. Before that, she received an Associate Degree in Business Administration and a Human Resource Management Certificate from Ivy Tech Community College. Her experience in the mental health field includes working as an advocate for LGBTQ+ youth, as well as providing supervised visitation to parents and their children during her internships in school. Kaitlyn has been an employee of Peace Zone since November 2023 and is a Certified Peer Recovery Professional.

Previous Executive Director, Evan Plock, will remain on the board of directors.

The Tri-State Food Bank, Inc. is hosting six Mobile Food Distributions in January! The TSFB truck will be distributing boxes of shelf-stable groceries with vegetables, fruit, and protein for our neighbors at these locations. All drop-offs run from 10:00am to noon, or while supplies last.

They need volunteers for the Mobile Food Distributions in February. With opportunities for individuals, groups and corporations on weekdays or the weekend. Head to their website to sign up or learn more info ➡ tristatefoodbank.org/get-involved/volunteer
