North Park Nursing Center extends its warmest congratulations to Brady Goebel on his successful completion of our Road to Recovery program!

Following a significant illness/injury, Brady received inpatient physical and occupational therapy and was able to return home yesterday. Upon his arrival in May, Brady was bedridden and facing uncertainty about his recovery. Through dedicated care, he has progressed to the point of ambulating with a walker, solely for balance. Brady credits our exceptional therapy team for his achievements and also acknowledges the unwavering support of senior management, Morgan and Jess, and Nurse Stevie.

When asked about his future aspirations, Brady expressed his profound gratitude, stating, "Just living my life! I wasn't sure it was going to happen and I'm so grateful to North Park for helping me reach my goals! I would recommend them 1000%".

We are immensely proud of Brady's remarkable progress and the dedication he demonstrated throughout his recovery journey. We wish him the very best as he embraces his future.

North Park Nursing Center is excited to welcome Caitlin Woods as our new Payroll & Benefits Coordinator! Caitlin joined us on July 2nd and brings with her a strong sense of dedication and purpose. She shared, “All I do, I do for my family.”

When asked what she loves most about North Park, Caitlin said:
“The people—both residents and coworkers! From the moment I walked in, everyone greeted me with a smile. The environment is so warm and welcoming—it truly feels like family. Everyone supports and helps one another.”

We’re so grateful to have Caitlin on board and wish her all the best in her new role!

North Park Nursing Center takes great pride in the exceptional care provided within our Memory Care Community. We are dedicated to serving our community members affected by Alzheimer's and dementia, and we actively support initiatives aimed at finding a cure for this disease. Each year, North Park participates in the Walk to End Alzheimer's, with fundraising as a key component of our commitment. Our recent garden party and rummage sale were successful events, and we were delighted to present over $1300 to Megan Irish, Chair of the Walk planning committee.

We are pleased to announce a rummage sale taking place today, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. All proceeds will benefit the Walk to End Alzheimer's. North Park Nursing Center will be participating in the walk on October 4th at Friedman Park. We encourage you to join our team and contribute to the cause of ending Alzheimer's Disease.

North Park Nursing Center was honored to welcome representatives from the Evansville Police Department this morning for a "Coffee with Cops" initiative. Officers were afforded the opportunity to interact with personnel, residents, and their families. Refreshments were made available. The event brought positive engagement between the nursing center and the police department. The center extends its sincere gratitude for the EPD's service and anticipates future collaborative initiatives.

North Park Nursing Center's Memory Care Community currently has available accommodations. This specialized unit provides programming for individuals with Alzheimer's and Dementia. Tasha Anderson, Memory Care Facilitator, oversees resident care. A recent activity included a Christmas in July celebration with associated games and prizes. Our memory care community offers a comfortable environment for family visits.. Tours are available!

Please join us in congratulating Cameron Bell, North Park Nursing Center's esteemed Resident of the Month!

Since joining our community, Cameron has cultivated numerous friendships and actively engages with his peers and our dedicated team members. He particularly appreciates the welcoming, family-like atmosphere. Cameron enjoys participating in Bingo and spending time with his friends. His culinary preferences include soul food and Mexican cuisine, and he favors flavored water as his beverage of choice. Black is his preferred color, and he fondly recalls the births of his children as the most memorable days of his life. When asked about his self-perception, Cameron shared, "I'm a deep thinker and I have a good personality." The North Park team is consistently uplifted by Cameron's positive demeanor, and we are truly privileged to have him as a valued member of our community.
