Today, we would like to recognize two of our amazing team members, sisters Bianca German and Andrea German. Bianca was named Rookie of the Month and Andrea was announced as Employee of the Month for September.

Andrea, September’s Employee of the Month, has been with North Park for over a year. She’s known for making residents smile with her humor and care. Culinary Director Daneal says, “Andrea goes above and beyond every day to improve our residents’ quality of life and support her team.”

When Andrea is not working, she enjoys spending time with her dog Mona Lisa German and her family, which includes 14 nieces and nephews, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. People may be surprised to know that Andrea plays basketball!

Bianca, our Rookie of the Month, joined us three months ago and is already making an impact. She loves connecting with residents and lending a helping hand. Culinary Director Daneal shares, “Bianca has taken the culinary aide role by storm with her attention to detail and willingness to exceed expectations.” She describes herself as quiet and shy — until she opens up and shows her fun side!

We are so pleased to have this dynamic duo on our team! Please help us congratulate them on these awards!

Happy Therapy Week! There is no better way to honor this team than to share one of their success stories!

Dennis Morell came to North Park Nursing Center at the end of May this year, needing long-term care. He has also been working very hard in physical therapy to regain his mobility.

Our therapy director, Chris, had the following to say: "Since coming to North Park Nursing Center, Paul "Dennis" Morell has taken the reins on his rehabilitative journey. Dennis was admitted to North Park with limited mobility and several persisting health concerns, but in 3 short months has literally gotten back up on his feet and started to turn his health around. Dennis has become so successful with his progress to date that he has become an influence on other residents at North Park, going as far as to co-teach group exercise classes with the therapy team. His journey is not over yet, as he still has goals related to improving his own independence, and the team at North Park is excited to help him reach those goals."

We commend Dennis for his dedication to improving and our staff for helping him along the way!
