Only the office of Peace of Mind Counseling will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. However, our amazing group of providers are utilizing Teams for all appointments for anyone interested. We have staff checking voicemails consistently throughout the day and will be happy to schedule anyone who would like to get in as we have had multiple cancellations, leaving multiple spots open to fill.
Please stay home and stay safe.
We will keep everyone updated the rest of the week as well.

POM is open today. Just a reminder to be careful where they may be slick spots, such as spots in the parking lot.
We are having some issues with our phone lines, so please bear with us as we try to get the lines up and running. You can leave voicemails that we are able to retrieve. We will return calls as soon as we are able to.

We would like to welcome 2 new providers to our office.

Kennedy Doyle is our newest Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She would be happy to assist those in need of psychiatric medication management.

Heather Westenberger is our newest Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She comes to us with the hope to help those in need of therapy for all your mental needs. She is also EMDR trained.

These ladies have immediate openings.

POM will be open on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 for in-office visits. We ask that you be very careful walking through the parking lot. We know there may be slick spots and we are trying to clear everything we can.

POM will be closing the office for Monday, January 6,2025.
If you have agreed to a telehealth platform for your scheduled session, please be available at the time of your appointment. Your provider will reach out to via the platform you have requested. If you are expecting a phone call, it will come from an unknown/blocked caller.
If we run into unexpected issues, we will try to keep everyone updated. I know people are having issues with power outages at this time, which may create problems

Due to anticipated inclement weather conditions, POM may need to close the office Monday; however, we will offer telehealth visits to patients that are already scheduled. Please monitor our social media for updates.

POM is currently monitoring the weather conditions. When a decision has been made regarding the status of closure, we will post here as well as call each scheduled patient to inform them and confirm their method of telehealth.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause as the safety of our patients and staff are of upmost importance.

POM would like to welcome Leslie "Scott" Leach, LCSW to our office in January 2025. Scott will be accepting new clients starting January 6, 2025. We are excited about having a male therapist in our office for clients who are searching for just that.

Happy New Year's Eve! Please be safe if you are out and about this evening.
We will be closed on January 1, 2025 and will reopen on January 2, 2025.
We look forward to supporting our clients, old and new, in their journey to find Peace of Mind. We can assist in achieving new personal mental health goals for managing stress and anxiety, relationships, past or current trauma, mood changes, and many other mental health conditions/concerns. Our providers will assist through implementation of one or more of the following skills and techniques: improved communication skills, new coping skills (or freshening up some of those we may forget to utilize,) setting boundaries, emotional self-regulation techniques, anger management techniques, self-awareness, and many more.

We are an Outpatient Private Practice Firm providing outpatient therapy for mental health and/or addictions, for all ages (children-adults). We provide individual, family, couples/marital, EMDR, and medication management.
Prefer clinician to have 5 years outpatient mental health experience. Willing to discuss if not applicable.
