The residents of Homewood Living Spring House recently embarked on a journey to Washington D.C. to tour the Bible Museum.
Complete with a charter bus and dinner at the Cracker Barrel, it was an amazing experience.

Recently Homewood Living Spring House was awarded the Best of the Best by the readers of the Bedford Gazette for several categories:

This week we celebrated these great accomplishments with a wonderful picnic luncheon in our pavilion. Catered by our outstanding dining team, over 100 residents enjoyed fried chicken, meatballs, a nacho bar, and many tasty sides!
We are grateful and blessed by these awards! Thank you to everyone who voted for Spring House!

The residents of Spring House went on an Elephant Wagon tour at the International Conservation Center (owned by the Pittsburgh Zoo) in Somerset, PA.
Complete with sightings of elephants, deer, a camel, bison, and reindeer!
No outing is complete without a stop for lunch! We enjoyed a great meal at Uptown Café.
Thank you to the International Conservation Center for their hospitality!

The Spring House Resident Association and the Resident Life Enrichment Endowment Fund hosted a great event at our community recently.
A full Italian meal with spaghetti and meatballs, fettuccine alfredo with chicken, salad, garlic bread, and cheesecake were served to all of those in attendance. After dinner, the very talent Ricky Howsare put on a show for the residents.
The 100 people in attendance enjoyed the toe tapping performance!

After a career as a critical care and cardiac care nurse, Karen and her husband, Bill, made the decision to move to Spring House from their long-time home in Frostburg, Md., more than 7 years ago.
