SERVER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare dining room tables and ensure dining room cleanliness
• Protect establishments and residents by adhering to sanitation, safety, and covid regulations
• Assist residents select food and beverages by presenting menu, making suggestions and explaining chefs' daily specials
• Bus dirty dishes and refill residents' beverages as needed
• Interact with residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner
• Adhere to grooming and presentation standards consistently, maintain clean uniform at all times
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor
• Assist with special events as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

SERVER QUALIFICATIONS

• Positive impersonal skills are required
• A food handler's card is required
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Customer service experience
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
• Will need to possess a current CPR/First Aid certificate and update as needed. (Class will be provided by the community)

Primary responsibilities: Meal service and delivery, waiting tables, washing dishware & cooking equipment and maintaining sanitation standards throughout the department.
Requirements:
• Food handler permit is required.
• Prior food service and/or customer service experience is a plus, but it is not required.

The RCC hires, trains, supervises, and schedules the care staff. The RCC monitors resident care needs, alerts the Wellness Director when the resident has a change in condition, addresses resident and family concerns, and acts as a liaison with community providers.
