The residents continue to warmly welcome Elizabeth into their home for music therapy weekly and today’s session was especially lively with smiles and laughs everywhere!

Music therapy offers many benefits for individuals with dementia. It can enhance cognitive function, reduce agitation and anxiety, improve communication, and spark positive emotional responses. Beyond that, it helps stimulate brain activity, supports memory retention, and may even contribute to slowing cognitive decline.
