Provider Spotlight: Daven Pantohan, PA-C @ WWMG Orthopedic, Sports, Spine & Hand Center

When Daven was in college, he originally planned to go to law school. But when the U.S. found itself at war, he was moved to honor his family tradition of serving this country. He decided to become a U.S. Army combat medic, and from this exposure to the medical field, Daven knew what he wanted to do when he got out of the service. He used his GI bill to put himself through Physician Assistant school at MEDEX Northwest.

Daven was drawn to Orthopedics because providers can literally fix what is broken and can see the direct results of their work in patients' outcomes. Our Orthopedic providers make a positive impact every day on improving peoples lives.

A patient recently shared, "I am so glad to be working with Daven! He is kind and gentle and very knowledgeable. Thank you Daven for your excellent care!"

In his free time, Daven enjoys working out and spending time with his wife and kids. We're grateful to him on our Orthopedics team, delivering high-quality patient care every day.

To improve your sleep quality, limit screen time before bed. The blue light emitted from devices can disrupt your natural sleep cycle, making it harder to fall and stay asleep. Unplugging helps the body and brain prepare for deeper, more restorative rest.

To learn more about how blue light impacts sleep, read this article from Harvard Health: https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/blue-light-has-a-dark-side.
