If you have Type 2 diabetes, talk to your physician about adding low-dose aspirin to your medication regime.
“People with diabetes may be among those who still benefit from primary prevention aspirin, a large observational study suggested.” The data indicated, “in contrast with the unimpressive track record of aspirin in most people, there was a clear difference in 10-year clinical outcomes when adults with type 2 diabetes at moderate or high risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) used aspirin at any point.” The findings were presented at the American Heart Association annual meeting."

"Sun Pharmaceutical Industries is recalling several lots of lisdexamfetamine dimesylate capsules, a generic attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder medication, after lab tests found it did not dissolve as expected. The recall involves 100-count bottles in 10 mg to 70 mg doses, with expiration dates in 2026. The FDA deemed this a Class II risk, indicating that while serious harm is unlikely, there could be temporary or reversible health consequences."
