You may have heard about the updated vaccination schedule, including vaccination options that fall under "shared clinical decision-making." What does this mean?
Simply put, shared clinical decision-making means having a conversation with your Alzein Pediatrics healthcare provider about the vaccinations your child should receive to maintain their best health and wellness possible.
We are always here to answer your questions!

Using the phrase “taking turns” can help children understand sharing doesn’t mean giving up their possessions permanently.
Praise your child when they share and say, “I’m sharing with you” when you are playing together.
Letting them understand sharing in their own time makes it a positive experience.

Yes, your child will learn to share, and they’ll actually learn faster if you don’t mandate sharing.
Instead, indulge their ownership. If a playdate is in your home, before the other child arrives, ask your child what they’d like to share with their friend and leave that out.
Put toys they don’t want to share out of sight.
If the playdate is out of your home, remind your child to ask before they take a toy.

How would you feel if your neighbor helped himself to your car? You would probably feel as if it’s been stolen!
