My heart goes out to everyone affected by the events here in Evergreen.

As a former teacher, I understand the fear that comes with the possibility of a tragedy like the one that occurred at Evergreen High School earlier this week. Thankfully, I never had to face such an event firsthand, but I can only imagine how overwhelming and terrifying it must have been.

To the teachers, admin, staff, neighbors, first responders, parents, community members, and especially the students—thank you for being true heroes, for protecting and guiding each other through the unimaginable. You have all endured something that most of us will never fully understand.

Please take time to be with your loved ones, and don’t hesitate to reach out for support. You don’t have to go through this alone.

At Polita's Place, we want to offer a small gesture of comfort. We’re providing free bottles of flower essences to anyone affected. These gentle, natural remedies can offer emotional support as you navigate the days, weeks, and months ahead. Our space is also open to anyone who needs a quiet moment or a sense of community.

Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned artist, this class is designed to inspire and educate. You'll learn sketching techniques, explore key botanical terms, and enjoy the calming process of drawing nature's beauty.

🪻Led by local artist Heather McNally, this workshop combines creativity with learning in a welcoming environment. All materials are provided—just bring your curiosity!

🪻Each participant will take home their lovely artwork on high quality paper, layered in a matte board. You will also have the opportunity to press a flower to preserve for later!

Join us for a Reiki Level I Course.

In this class, you will learn about Reiki and some techniques which can help reduce stress, promote relaxation and aid in healing. We will have the opportunity to practice on each other and be able to feel the benefits first hand.
