What does Occupational Therapy look like❓

It looks like someone practicing how to button a shirt again. 👔 Rebuilding the strength and dexterity to hold a coffee cup. ☕ Rehearsing the motions to prepare a simple meal and learning to use a reacher to safely pick things up without bending 🫳.

During Occupational Therapy Month, we’re celebrating the amazing therapists who help our rehab patients rebuild confidence, independence, and the skills that make daily life meaningful. 🫶

⭐ Howard came to Life Care Center of Evergreen to recover and regain strength after having pneumonia and sepsis, and was almost completely dependent. Now, after completing therapy, he no longer needs physical assistance to carry out daily activities! Way to go, Howard! 🥳
