This week is Customer Appreciation Week, and our branch kicked it off with a breakfast on Monday to show our appreciation to our staff! We also all took the pledge of Care Commitment for our patients and their families. We are enjoying passing out treats and celebrating all of our customers this week to show our appreciation.

These three ladies are part of our office staff. Our VC has a big role in assuring our patients and families are getting the most out of their hospice benefits by lining up volunteers and obtaining donations from the community, just to name a few things. And no one in the field would be able to do what they do without our PCM and PCC! They help keep all of the processes moving every single day. They may work behind the scenes, but they are no less of an integral part of the team!

Not only do we have a clinical team at SouthernCare, but we also have a business development team. These two ladies work day in and day out, having hospice conversations with families and the community, making sure people are informed and educated on what services we provide. They also work to make sure physicians and facilities experience a smooth referral process so that our clinical staff can step in and provide the exceptional care that our patients and their families deserve.

Kaitlyn is one of our RN case managers in Conecuh County, but she will soon be transitioning into the position of a night-shift nurse with us. Mallory is one of our current night-shift nurses. What does our night-shift consist of? These ladies rotate weeknights & weekends to ensure our patients have access to local nurses 24/7/365. It is a full-time position they hold, and it allows our full-time day shift case managers a break as well as a whole lot of help!

Our team would not be complete without these heart-filled, caring RNs; we are so thankful to have them!
