Today's message: To spare feelings is to sacrifice truth. This serves as an instruction for finding balance in disagreements. Somewhere between kindness towards your opponent(s) and the necessity to express your truth lies a productive discussion with the potential to yield enrichment and a deeper understanding for all parties involved. However, that can only happen if all participants are willing to listen with open minds. At times, it is absolutely crucial to let them have it, despite their feelings. There are also times when kindness towards your opponent's feelings or the awareness that they will not listen with an open mind will lead to a pointless, bitter argument, resulting in keeping your truth to yourself. It reminds me of a see-saw from my childhood memories. How high do we rise? How low do we fall? Or do we gently teeter in the middle?

Before I step outside my home to go to work, I reflect on how fortunate I am to have a purpose in life. It feels good to know I make difference with every service I perform.

This is my Wishing candle. As it burns, the intentions I put in it when making and charging it get released into the world to come back to me when I am ready to receive the intended results. I invite you yo light your own candles and make a wish. Take a few days lighting the candle (never leave a burning candle unattended) and letting it burn for few hours till it's all gone.

I have been taking things slow. Nurturing the nurturer, healing the healer. I have been tucked in my cocoon of self-love, learning to accept kindness and care as much as I give. This restful period was needed as a reset. I am inviting all those that need my guidance, touch and space holding to reach out and allow me be a part of their healing routine. It will be a balance peaceful approach where my patients and students well being is equally important as my own.
New hours of operation:
* VA and other insurance patients - Mondays 1pm to 7pm. and Tuesdays 10am to 5:30pm at Envy Eyes And Wax Spa in Kapolei
* Wednesdays and Thursdays 10am to 5:30pm in my home office in Ewa Beach.
