The federal government has swiftly approved the Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital project, valued at nearly Rs. 53 billion, despite the absence of a finalized detailed feasibility study or business plan. The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) gave its approval despite significant gaps in planning.

In addition to this project, the CDWP has sanctioned five other projects totaling Rs. 15.35 billion. Furthermore, three projects worth Rs. 129 billion have been forwarded to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) for final approval.
