Happy First Bee Swarm Catch! 🐝✨

There’s an old beekeeper saying about swarm season:

“A swarm in May is worth a load of hay;
A swarm in June is worth a silver spoon;
A swarm in July isn’t worth a fly.”

And this one was a beauty. 🤍
Nice and low to the ground, easy to collect, and full of healthy, active bees. I safely relocated them to my bee yard and will check on them again this weekend, but everything looked very promising.

The best part? A beautiful young, unmarked queen. 👑🐝
Now we wait and hope she’s bred and ready to start laying eggs.

’Tis the season for get-togethers, celebrations, and special events—and customized goodies always make it extra sweet. And wow… you all have been keeping us busy with orders for all the things! 💛

We typically ask for a two-week notice on custom creations. With upcoming travel over the next few weeks, we kindly ask that any orders needing specific colors, flavors, or dosing be submitted by Sunday, May 3.

After July 4, our schedule opens back up and turnaround times will be much more flexible. Until then, please know we always have beautiful options available to help make your event special—even if it’s not an exact custom match. Personalized packaging and labels can still add that perfect touch. ✨

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it 🐝💛

Huge thank you to my friends Carrie and Trevor for welcoming my hives into their space over the past couple of years. Because of their kindness, we successfully overwintered five hives—even through one cold winter.

I checked on them today, and wow… they are already nearly packed with honey 🍯 I’ll be adding more supers next week, which is such an exciting milestone this early in the season.

And the aroma… absolutely incredible. When I opened the hives, it felt like I was standing in the middle of a blooming orange grove—sweet, warm, and completely intoxicating.

Feeling beyond excited and deeply grateful for this journey 🌿✨
