Another seasonal favorite is back after carefully marinating our locally grown garlic for 6 weeks in apple cider vinegar.

Fermented garlic honey is a potent natural remedy known for boosting immunity, fighting colds, and reducing inflammation, combining garlic’s allicin with honey’s antioxidants for antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal effects, while supporting heart and gut health, with fermentation making garlic milder and more bioavailable. It’s rich in antioxidants, helps with digestion, and offers a sweet, savory flavor for use in teas, dressings, or as a glaze, but should be used cautiously in large amounts.

It’s the time of the season when you might need a little extra support for your immune system. Fire Cider is a great option. Personally, I take a shot most days I am out of the house and in the public.

My intention for this round was to have a workshop and let my community make their own batch and have it marinate in their home because it’s so beautiful. Too beautiful for me to just make several gallons and then move to the basement and sit where no one sees its beauty before we press the contents of the apple cider vinegar and add the honey.

But something feels off. It may just be a shift of energy since my Reiki attunement Sunday. It’s an ebb and flow of feeling off. So I’m doing what I feel called to do, when I feel called to do it. Whipping up this batch of Fire Cider fits the bill. Bryon ran to the store and got all the ingredients we didn’t have.

And just a tip, don’t be afraid of Fire Cider. It can be easily sweetened by adding more honey. Yes it does have onions, jalapeños, black pepper, cayenne pepper and horseradish, but honey can really help this medicine go down smoothly.

The next step for this batch is that these gallons will sit and marinate for 4-6 weeks. After that, we press the ingredients through a press and add local, raw honey that is likable to my pallet. I will admit, I tend to like mine a little sweeter than the average bear. Also note, it is advisable that you shake your bottle prior to using.

Just thought I would share our process. And the love, care and intention behind the product.

For the 111 portal my wish today was to make sure to invest in myself with intention and I followed thru with that.

Today I spent time with a group of like minded people and got my Usui Reiki 1 Certificate with my teacher and friend . It was especially moving to be recognized by a fellow student and nurse practitioner that not only uses my product, but she shared that she had a hospice patient that was struggling and I had gifted him a salve prior to his passing. ❤️

Stay tuned as our new creations roll out will proudly display “reiki infused”. I am honored as we upgrade our already trusted holistic products for you all. Thank you for your continued support. It means the world to me.

The real flex is how many lives can you impact…..

Rest assure we will continue to create magic and help members of our community live their best lives as we continue to learn about alternative and natural plant medicines and remedies.

With this said, please know we have moved our local footprint out of Yardley, Bucks County, PA. Going forward we will no longer have “OPEN SHOP” hours on set days. Instead you will be able to set up appointments where we can meet privately one on one, in small groups or even hold your own informational party per se. We are also talking to small businesses who would like to have Herb & Hive “Pop Up” on occasion and share all the goodness. Other than not having Yardley where our “store” is, everything else is pretty much the same.

We have other things we are working on too, so be sure to stay in touch. Change is good. It keeps things fresh and exciting.

Happy new chapter. May this year be filled with gratitude, love, trust and intention.

Good morning! Just wanted to give you an update on our cash and carry honey, fire cider and elixirs. When the temperature drops below freezing we do not put our products outside for long periods of time because they can become compromised. Honey crystallizes and both fire cider and elixirs freeze. Just shoot me a message if you are looking to pick up anything and we will have it ready for you. Thanks all!

Hey Guys!

Just a friendly reminder that the shop will be closed from December 8 and will reopen December 22.

We also want to share that we have transitioned most of our products from our current location. We aren’t quite sure where we are going to call “home” yet. But as we look at locations locally, we are considering where we might fit either independently or as a partner in a shared space with a like minded business. With that said, if you know of anyone or see an open space in the great space in NJ that is fairly close to me, please let me know. We are thinking areas within Pennington, Titusville, Lambertville. It needs to be close to us so we can fill orders and stuff. I don’t want to have to travel more than 30 minutes to go to “work”.

Not sure what 2026 holds yet, but we have a lot of traveling planned. An impending crazy ass h**p ban that potentially goes into effect in November 2026. A recreational cannabis bill that’s stalled in PA; I guess they don’t need the tax revenue. And other things that are leading me to look over the bridge.

Build your immunity with homemade elixirs.

We have elderberry rosehips (pictured here) and LTG (lemon, turmeric, ginger). We recommend keeping them in the refrigerator, shaking the jar before use and taking a shot a day (about an ounce). We also have fire cider that does not require refrigeration.
