Back in February we were contacted by a local vets office about a stray cat that was brought in by a Good Samaritan. Sadly the vet office could only offer this poor soul euthanasia as an option but thankfully the vet staff intervened on his behalf and called rescues to try to get someone to step up for him. While we were in no position to take on another large medical case one look in this sad boys eyes was all it took and we took him in. Today after weeks of care, extreme dental work and other medical support our sweet FIV positive Tucker got his second chance at a happy life! Tucker went to his foster to adopt home, a home with other sweet cats and an extremely wonderful and experienced cat mom! We pray Tucker settles in quickly and learns that life can be good. This poor cat was in bad condition and had been clearly suffering for a long time. He is gentle, timid and loving…he deserved better and we are so extremely grateful that he is on track for a wonderful life! Yay Tucker…be happy & healthy! Also thank you to all who donated toward his care…this is the result of donations & support!

Leroy is wearing his heart ❤️ on his sleeve hoping to give it away to someone deserving soon. This big, beautiful handsome hunk of love is waiting at the Princeton Petsmart for the person to see how special he is and take him home. Leroy was living rough outside and has the battle scars to show it, he has a disfigured toe and part of his tail is missing but this gentle giant is all full of love and sweetness. Just like that our new raffle is up and running thanks to a generous donation of two Bissell Pet Plus Cleaners With a retail value of over $150.00 each! Congratulations to our lucky raffle winners! New raffle coming soon! Raffles are one the best ways to help us raise funds quickly. We are constantly inundated with medical emergencies and just standard spay/neuter and vetting…it is EXPENSIVE and we are fully small dollar funded. We do not have any big donors sadly…this is a labor of love and any money collected goes directly to the animals in our care! Please participate and donate! Also we are currently doing a feral colony food drive…appreciate bags of friskies, meow mix and friskies wet food donations and can be dropped at Princeton Petsmart. Thank you to everyone who supports us even with just good vibes…we are in short supply of those too! 😻

Tomorrow is the last day of Petsmart National Adoption week and the last day to take advantage of reduced adoption fees! Please visit and take home a new buddy or two…we’d love to clear the room as we have so many cats waiting for homes! Our adorable eight month old brothers Paulie & Petey are just waiting for their family to show up so they can finally know what a true home feels like. Sweet Eleanor came to us almost two years ago as an older kitten. This pretty kitty was quickly adopted and was in what we thought was her forever home, sadly that was not the case and Eleanor was recently returned due to a “life change”….now this almost three year old cat is sad, confused and wondering why she’s sitting in a crate at Petsmart and not in her home. We are hoping a wonderful family comes along quickly and they are the people that won’t let her down! Visit her At Petsmart along with lots of other adorable cats & kittens! Yay!!! It’s Petsmart National Adoption Week! Special adoption hours this week…Thursday 430pm-830pm; Saturday 11am-6pm and Sunday 12-6pm! We will be offering reduced adoption fees all week. Please stop by our adoption center in the store and bring home one of our very sweet and deserving cats!!! Meet our three beautiful new additions! Gilbert, Lily & Leroy are absolutely beautiful and sweet adult cats ready for loving, calm & stable homes! How do we begin to write this as our hearts are so broken but we wanted to update that our sweet senior girl has left us. We pulled darling Ashley from ACCT Philly in October when she was placed on kill list over her untreated hyperthyroidism. After we got her we discovered she also had advanced heart disease and early kidney disease. Nonetheless through much love, care and medication this older girl positively rebounded and had many wonderful months with the occasional bump but she always responded and came back. Sadly this week was different and it appeared it was her time…the light in her eyes was gone and I couldn’t let my sweet angel suffer. I loved her beyond words in the short time we had together and I take comfort knowing she passed as a loved cat not a throwaway of convenience. She came to me for a reason and it was my honor to have had her. If I could encourage one thing with this post it would be to please consider the seniors, sick or less than perfect cats. These are the cats that need us the most. It may only be weeks or months but loving these animals at the end is truly a gift in spite of the pain. There are so many. I love you Ashley.
