Residents, family members, and support partners spent time immersed in meaningful conversation, gaining valuable insight and practical best practices to better support their loved ones. Susan’s expertise and compassionate approach created a space for learning, connection, and empowerment for everyone in attendance.

Meet Jae, our Arbor Star of the Year 2025!

Jae has been part of Arbor Terrace for the past three years, forming meaningful relationships with residents and getting to know them beyond daily care. In Jae’s own words:

“I have truly enjoyed working at Arbor Terrace for the past three years. During this time, I’ve had the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with our residents and get to know them beyond just their daily care. Listening to their life stories—their careers, families, challenges, and accomplishments—has been one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

Working in this community has helped me gain a deeper understanding of older adults and the experiences they’ve lived through, including major life changes, losses, and milestones. It has taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of treating each resident with dignity and respect. Arbor Terrace has not only allowed me to grow professionally, but it has also helped shape me personally by giving me a greater appreciation for the resilience and wisdom of our residents.”
