Many adults begin exploring ADHD after years of feeling overwhelmed, scattered, or exhausted from trying to keep up. 😮‍💨 Adult ADHD can look very different from the stereotypes we grew up with, especially for women and people who were high-achieving or masking.

At the same time, symptoms that look like ADHD can also be connected to trauma, anxiety, burnout, or chronic stress. That’s why thoughtful assessment matters.

Healing Hearts Wellness offers adult ADHD assessments designed to be thorough, collaborative, and trauma-informed.

✨ The Body Compassion Project Retreat 2026 ✨

📅 Dec 11–13, 2026
📍 Himalayan Institute

Through gentle yoga, somatic practices, creative expression, energy work, meditation, and time in nature, we’ll explore what it means to inhabit our bodies with more kindness, curiosity, and care.

Body compassion isn’t about fixing or changing yourself. It’s about listening. Tending. Reclaiming your body as your own. Together, we’ll loosen the stories that were never meant to be carried, strengthen connection to what does belong, and cultivate a deeper sense of belonging- within ourselves and with one another.

This retreat is for anyone longing for a more compassionate relationship with their body- whether you’re healing from diet culture, moving through a life transition, or reconnecting after illness, trauma, or chronic stress. No yoga experience needed.

If you’ve ever left a yoga class feeling worse instead of better, this may be why.

Hypermobility and dysautonomia require a different approach to movement. Slower pacing. Positional awareness. Stability over stretch. Nervous system intelligence.

Strong Enough, Soft Enough is a 6-week adaptive yoga therapy series created specifically for complex bodies.

✔ No pushing through pain
✔ No “just try harder”
✔ No expectation to look or move a certain way

Just thoughtful, precise, supported work with Erika, an IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist with over 25 years of experience.

📍 Exton, PA
🗓 Tuesdays, March 24 - April 28
⏳ Closed series (no drop-ins)

If your body has been asking for something different, this might be it.

The world has been loud lately.
And our nervous systems are feeling it.

When stress and uncertainty pile up, our bodies stay in “on” mode- even when nothing is immediately wrong. Meditation can be one way to gently interrupt that cycle and remind your system that, in this moment, you’re safe.

It doesn’t have to be long.
It doesn’t have to be silent. It doesn't have to be still.
And it definitely doesn’t have to be perfect.

If you’re curious about having guidance and structure, we have several free guided meditations that are designed to support nervous system regulation and grounding- especially during overwhelming times.

Check them out through the link in our bio 🎧

Children often show stress through behavior before they have the words to explain what’s happening inside.

Big emotions that don’t settle, frequent meltdowns or shutdowns, and school stress spilling into home life can all be signs that a child’s nervous system needs extra support- not discipline or pushing harder.

You don’t have to wait for things to fall apart before seeking help. Paying attention early is an act of care.

Take the first step toward support that helps your child feel safer, more regulated, and better understood at Healing Hearts Wellness.

When was the last time someone held space for YOUR rage?

Not your client’s. Not your partner’s. Yours.

You spend your days sitting with other people’s pain, their grief, their fury at systems that failed them. You hold it with skill and compassion.

And then you go home. And you swallow yours.

The Rage and Clarity Retreat is a 2.5-hour experiential afternoon built for therapists who are ready to stop holding it all in.

You won’t just learn about somatic interventions for expressing (not calming) anger. You’ll live them.

What happens:

• Scream in the woods (yes, really)
• Throw paint as expressive release
• Lion’s Breath and Reiki guided meditation for integration
• Optional sauna and cold contrast for nervous system reset
• Leave with a clarity plan you can actually use

This isn’t a rage room. This is rage with intention, followed by clarity.

We’re excited to share a podcast episode that explores something we talk about often here at Healing Hearts Wellness: how embodiment, curiosity, and nervous system care can gently create real change. ✨

In this conversation with Elizabeth Mann on The Alchemical Path, we talk about why regulation doesn’t always mean sitting still, how curiosity can help us feel safer in our bodies, and how tending to your nervous system can support healing in everyday life- not just in therapy sessions.

If you’ve been curious about yoga therapy, nervous system regulation, or new ways to reconnect with yourself, this episode is a beautiful place to start.

Listen now and let us know what resonates. 🎧

If you live in a body that feels sensitive, unpredictable, or easily overwhelmed, this series was built with you in mind.

Strong Enough, Soft Enough is a 6-week yoga therapy series designed specifically for hypermobility, EDS/HSD, dysautonomia (including POTS and MCAS), ADHD, and related nervous system differences. 🧘🏽‍♂️

This is not a typical yoga class.

We move slowly or not at all.
We pause often.
We build stability and support without harm.

You don’t need prior yoga experience. You don’t need a formal diagnosis. You just need a body, and that body deserves to be worked with.

Led by Erika, IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist with over 25 years of experience in adaptive, nervous-system informed, trauma-sensitive practice.

📍 In person at our Exton, PA office
🗓 Tuesdays, March 24 - April 28
⏳ Closed, progressive 6-week series (no drop-ins)

If this feels like the kind of support your body has been looking for, you can learn more and reserve your spot through the link in our bio!

If you and your partner keep missing each other in conversations, it might not be about effort, intention, or “doing it wrong.”

In mixed-neurotype relationships, partners often speak different nervous system languages. One person may need directness. Another may need reassurance or emotional context. These differences aren’t flaws, they’re reflections of how our brains and bodies process the world.

With self-awareness, compassion, and intentional communication, it’s possible to build a shared language that honors both partners. 🤝

Annarose offers individual and couples therapy grounded in nervous-system–informed, neurodiversity-affirming care for people navigating identity, relationships, and connection.

Support that meets you where you are and helps you move forward together.

What does it look like to build real-world capacity when living with hypermobility, neurodivergence, and/or dysautonomia?

It looks like having the tools to navigate a stimulating environment without a complete system crash. It looks like understanding your body’s signals and responding with compassion, not force. It looks like moving from a place of limitation to a new sense of possibility.

At Healing Hearts Wellness, we are proud to offer "Strong Enough, Soft Enough," a 6-week adaptive yoga therapy series designed to give you those tools. Facilitated by our expert yoga therapist, Erika Tenenbaum, this program is grounded in the practical application of somatic skills.

This isn’t just theory. Our own community members have used these exact principles to go from being on bedrest to successfully navigating overwhelming environments. This is about building a life, not just managing a condition.

Join us to learn how to:

•Build stability without rigidity

•Increase your energy capacity through mindful movement

•Respond (vs react) to dizziness, brain fog, and chronic tension

•Rebuild trust in your body relationship

Choosing a therapist can feel overwhelming — especially when you start hearing about all the different “types” of therapy and aren’t sure where to begin. 😵‍💫

The truth is, there isn’t one right approach for everyone. Different nervous systems, life experiences, goals, and personalities benefit from different kinds of support.

What matters most is finding a style of therapy that feels safe, supportive, and aligned with what you’re working through.

Our therapists offer a wide range of holistic and evidence-based approaches — from body-based therapies and trauma treatment to couples work and mindfulness-based care. We believe healing happens best when mind, body, and nervous system are all part of the conversation.

If you’re feeling curious about therapy, returning after a break, or unsure what might be the best fit, we’d love to help you explore your options.

We currently have openings for in-person and virtual therapy, including evening appointments and some insurance plans accepted.
