Sweet Moments in Life Stories✨
“S’mores, smiles, and sweet friends!
Our residents had such a great time making their own S’mores in a cone! 🍫🍦 With gloves on and big smiles, they filled waffle cones with chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers—then enjoyed every bite while stuffing the cones full of sweetness. 💕Raquel from Amada Senior Care joined the fun by giving cone S’mores a try herself! 🥰

Later in the day, Jessica from Thema Home Care brought a refreshing treat of water ice for everyone.

Hopewell Church Last Visit.
🌟 We had a wonderful visit with Pastor Shauna from Hopewell Church last week as she wrapped up her “Faith Life Camp” Adult Vacation Bible School with our residents. Each week was filled with scripture, devotions, music, crafts, and games that brought joy and connection to everyone who joined. 💜

We recently gathered for our monthly Life Stories Family Dinner and Dementia Support Group. It was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. Sharing a warm meal with our residents and their families was more than just an evening together—it was a testament to our commitment to building a strong, compassionate community. 🍽️💕

Our support group, focused on the theme "Join the Journey," continues to be a valuable resource for families navigating the challenges of dementia. It offers not just information and guidance, but a safe space to connect, reflect, and find strength in shared experiences. 🌿

A Special Day at Exton Senior Living! ✨☕

In Life Stories, we gathered for a delightful Tea Party to welcome our newest resident into our warm and caring family. Laughter, conversation, and sweet treats made the afternoon truly special. 🫖💛

Meanwhile, in Personal Care, residents enjoyed their own Tea Party paired with the exciting introduction of Lucynt — our new interactive games system! 🎮💡 Smiles were everywhere as residents tried out fun activities that challenge the mind and bring people together.

It’s days like these that remind us that community is built one shared cup of tea and one shared laugh at a time. 💐

📷✨ Remembering a Remarkable Life ✨📷

On July 8, Exton Senior Living quietly honored what would have been the 104th birthday of beloved resident Rita Wiggins. Rita, who passed away peacefully on June 12, touched countless lives during her nearly five years with us. Known for her warmth, wit, and kind spirit, she never missed a chance to make others feel seen and appreciated.

Born in 1921, Rita lived an extraordinary life filled with adventure, resilience, and deep love for her family. A brilliant woman, talented baker, and lifelong learner, she inspired everyone around her — including our residents and team members, who cherished her deeply.

Though we couldn't celebrate her milestone birthday with her this year, we remember her with full hearts and lasting gratitude. 💜

This week, we honored the one and only Elvis Presley with a special visit from an incredible Elvis impersonator during Happy Hour Friday afternoon!

Our residents had a blast singing along, clapping, and swaying to their favorite classics from “The King.” The smiles, the laughter, and the joy in the room said it all — Elvis still has a way of stealing hearts. 💫
