Tests for Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis)

Tennis elbow is a common condition caused by overuse of the forearm muscles, leading to pain around the outer side of the elbow. Proper clinical examination helps in accurate diagnosis.

🔍 Common Clinical Tests for Tennis Elbow

1️⃣ Cozen's Test

Pain over the lateral epicondyle during resisted wrist extension indicates a positive test.

2️⃣ Mill's Test

Pain is reproduced when the examiner passively stretches the wrist extensors with elbow extension.

3️⃣ Maudsley's Test

Pain occurs when the patient resists extension of the middle finger, stressing the extensor digitorum muscle.

⚠️ Positive Result:

Pain at the lateral epicondyle of the elbow suggests tennis elbow.

💡 Early diagnosis and physiotherapy can help reduce pain and restore function.

He had stress through the roof affecting his health and life, no time to spend with his family, barely paying his bills, and a boss that just kept pushing and pushing him to do more, get more done, “we gotta increase productivity!” He was a mess.

Well I sent him a free book to get thinking, and I didn't hear from him. Fast forward a month. He called the admissions office and said, "I'm tired of suffering from this job. Can we talk?" The Acting Director of the school said, "Sure. We can do that today."

So he came in, sat down for an admissions interview, and then the next day we gave him his options. The results?
