Every day, people with disabilities in our community face challenges — to care, to independence, to opportunity. At Chester County Disability Services (Cerebral Palsy Association of Chester County), we’re here to change that. And we can’t do it without you. 💙

Although “cerebral palsy” is in our name, our mission reaches far beyond a single diagnosis. We proudly serve children and adults with a wide range of physical and developmental disabilities, helping them live more independent, fulfilling lives.

💚 We absolutely love our participants — and we are constantly inspired by their strength, resilience, and accomplishments! 💚

Today we want to highlight something truly special. One of our incredible community members, Gregory Smith, has written a powerful and moving book titled Stronger Than Bone — a firsthand look at life with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (brittle bone disease).

His story is filled with courage, hope, and the determination to keep pushing forward no matter what life brings.

The Cerebral Palsy Association is way ahead of the current — we’re already gearing up for the Northbrook Canoe Race Fundraiser! 🛶💚
Sure, the race isn’t until May, but we’re making waves early and looking for:
🏆 Prize donations (because winners deserve some glory!)
👕 T-shirt sponsors (your logo could be riding the rapids in style!)

Members, we call on you to advocate on behalf of children and families receiving Early Intervention, to urge our legislators and Governor Shapiro to pass the budget, including the recommended increase in funding for Early Intervention!
