"What am I going to do with all of these supplies I have and haven't used in over 15 years?" - I know, donate to Storytellers group and we can all make our own scrapbooks. They turned out amazing - check it out.... One of the group members asked if this was a weekend project since we had so many supplies to work with on Thursday!

I Brought the Craft Store to Storytellers Group (and Didn’t Even Mean To) You know you might have a scrapbooking problem when you show up to your storytellers group and realize you’ve basically sup…

Check out our June Storytellers group.

This month there were air plants and succulents to care for. The pots for the succulents were a perfect art project and then we got tiny animals and rocks to add to a terrarium for the air plants. …

Disability Rights Pennsylvania
Friends-

Lawmakers have taken a dangerous step. Today, July 1, 2025, the Senate passed an amended version of H.R. 1, also known as the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” - a sweeping bill that would cut vital programs and strip away protections for people with disabilities. The Senate version of this bill has even bigger cuts to these services.

If this bill becomes law, it will:

Take away Medicaid services for millions of Americans, and over 700,000 Pennsylvanians.
Eliminate around 61,000 Pennsylvania jobs that are heavily funded by Medicaid dollars.
Cut funds to SNAP, to the extent that it is not certain that Pennsylvania will be able to have a continued SNAP program.
Reduce staffing regulations on nursing homes and long-term care facilities.
These policies would harm millions cutting off essential health care, food access, and educational opportunity for people with disabilities, older adults, and families already struggling to get by.

We’ve seen these tactics before-- work requirements, documentation hurdles, funding caps. No matter the name, they mean the same thing: cuts, burdens, and barriers for our community. There is no room for compromise here. H.R. 1 must be opposed. Take action by following instructions below!

The project for May was a paint pour. It turned out better than I even imagined. And the best news, we didn't make much of a mess.

This month we worked with different methods of paint pouring. We were prepared for quite a mess and I’m happy to report, we really only had one spill and it was easily contained. Otherwise, o…
