Enter a Place of Belonging. We guide our students to reclaim their health and happiness through ancient wisdom and self-care.
Zia Yoga & Wellness is a vibrant community committed to increasing Yoga's accessibility, honoring its roots as a spiritual practice for collective healing, and inspiring a movement toward equitable wellness for everyone. Yoga can help you dismantle stress and gain access to the experience of radical self-love in your body but it can also be intimidating, expensive, lack accessibility and representation, and feel available to only some. Zia Yoga & Wellness is an intentional and inclusive space, created for anyone who has felt othered elsewhere to feel affirmed and welcome. Through our work, we empower our students to help us in making waves in the wellness industry by challenging norms, disrupting systems, and mobilizing people to be in action to create transformative social change.

This past year, while leading my incredible team at Zia, building a business network for q***r entrepreneurs & allies, and completing an entrepreneurship certificate with Goldman Sachs + Babson, I’ve been quietly tending what’s next.
✨ And now it’s here. ✨
The Changemakers Collective is a space for people who want to make a difference without losing themselves in the process.
This isn’t about fixing yourself. And it’s not about adding more to your already full plate.
It’s about using the tools of Yoga to come home to yourself — while staying engaged with the world you care so deeply about.
Inside the Collective, we gather in a steady, nourishing rhythm to:
✨ Ground your nervous system
✨ Clarify what truly matters now
✨ Practice sustainable ways of showing up
✨ Be witnessed and supported by people who truly get this path
This is for you if:
🚫 You’re done doing everything alone
🧘🏾 You crave consistency, not intensity
💪 You want your impact rooted in alignment—not burnout
Enrollment is open, and we begin on January 12th.
xoxo Kristin

Why self-care feels impossible (even though you know you need it) 🙈
Too busy.
Too tired.
Not flexible enough.
Not “a yoga person.”
Here’s the truth:
👉 It’s not that you don’t care about your well-being.
👉 It’s that life is loud, full, and demanding.
Yoga isn’t about doing more; it’s about creating space inside your life so everything else feels lighter.
That’s exactly why we created the Zia 21 Unlimited Days: a low-pressure way to begin, without committing to forever.
✨ Unlimited yoga for 21 days
✨ 3-minute audio meditations for calm on the go
✨ A community of warm, welcoming folks just like you
Your body and mind don’t need perfection; they need permission.
Yoga didn’t begin as a fitness trend or a perfect pose.
At its roots, yoga is about agency, learning how to live with clarity, choice, and compassion in a complicated world.
At Zia Yoga & Wellness, we’re reclaiming that wisdom and reimagining modern wellness. We challenge the status quo, center humanity over hustle, and create space for personal healing that ripples outward into meaningful social change.
We believe yoga is a practice for everyone. 🤍
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed in big classes…
Intimidated by competitive wellness culture…
Or unsure if your body, abilities, or mobility “belong” in a yoga space...
✨ This is your invitation home.✨
At Zia, you’ll practice alongside a supportive community and receive thoughtful, personalized guidance from experienced instructors who meet you exactly where you are.

This New Year, choose presence over pressure.
Connection over comparison.
A practice that supports your life, on and off the mat.
✨ A New Year Blessing from Our Community to Yours ✨
May our shared practice remind us that peace begins within and grows through connection.
May 2026 nourish hope where it’s needed most, justice in how we show up, and joy in the small, sacred moments of everyday life.
As we step into a new year together, may your practice support you in living with intention, compassion, and courage, on and off the mat.
With gratitude for this community and the work we continue to do together. 🤍🌿

🕯️ Our Winter Solstice gathering was filled with candlelight, grounding scents, quiet laughter, and the kind of stillness that only arrives when we pause long enough to listen.
You can create a small Winter Solstice Yule offering using what the land around you is already offering:
🚶🏽♀️ Begin with a short walk outside. Notice what’s already there: a fallen branch, leaves, pine needles, seed pods, bark, or dried grasses. Gather what draws your attention; intention begins with noticing.
🪵 Choose a piece of wood, bark, or branch as your base. Last night, we worked with white birch, the tree of beginnings and renewal, but any wood that feels steady and supportive will do.
🍊 Add leaves or evergreens for resilience through winter, citrus peels or dried fruit to call in warmth and light, herbs or kitchen spices for clearing and blessing, seeds or dried grasses to ground your offering in Earth’s life force.
If your Yule offering is fully natural and biodegradable, you may burn it safely outdoors or return it to the Earth, placing it beneath a tree or near water. As you release your offering, notice where you are being invited to ground or welcome more light?
As we move into the new year, you may feel a gentle stirring toward deeper clarity, alignment, or change. If so, we invite you to explore what’s unfolding next at Zia:

You’re doing all the things to “refill your cup.” But what about the places where your energy silently leaks out?
THE LEAKPROOF LIFE is a virtual practice to uncover and repair the subtle leaks that drain your energy and capacity - and it is our GIFT to you this holiday season!
In this powerful, grounding 75-minute workshop, you’ll learn to identify the subtle drains, habits, stories, patterns, roles, and emotional hooks that leave you depleted even when you’re doing “everything right.”
In this workshop, you will:
✨ Discover the hidden leaks in your energetic container
✨ Understand why certain patterns keep you exhausted
✨ Learn practices to strengthen your capacity and resilience
✨ Reconnect to a steadier, truer source of vitality
✨ Learn to gather and expand your energy
We're extending an open invite to Changemakers who:
🔥 Lead, teach, parent, heal, create, hold space, or serve
🔥 Are exhausted from doing it all (and doing it well)
🔥 Want sustainable, soul-aligned energy
🔥 Are ready to stop fixing themselves and start supporting themselves
🔥 Desire a community of like-hearted leaders walking a similar path
Without repairing the subtle cracks in your energetic system, even your best self-care drains right through. Once you learn to hold your energy, everything shifts: your clarity, your boundaries, your creativity, your joy, your leadership.

In the nearly two decades I’ve been practicing yoga, I’ve heard every stereotype and myth about yogis and the yoga world. But the one that has always bugged me the most is that “real” yogis are super thin, bendy, hippy-dippy, woo-woo, tree-hugging flower children who care more about balancing their chakras than their checkbooks.
In fact, most of the people you’ll meet in our community look more like you than like the picture I painted above.
The truth is there is no one “type” of yogi or yoga studio. Yet, we’ve all been to a yoga or fitness class where we were made to feel like we didn’t belong, or we weren’t [thin / strong/ flexible/ young/ athletic/ spiritual/ chill] enough to be there.
When I opened Zia Yoga, I was committed to creating a space where everyone felt not just welcomed – but as though they were exactly where they were meant to be.
We help women who have felt totally lost or intimidated in a Yoga Class rekindle their energy and enthusiasm for self-care in a down-to-earth environment so they can feel strong, motivated, and comfortable in their bodies.
If you’ve always been afraid to try yoga; it’s been a while since practiced, or you just never felt like you fit in, know there is always a space for you at Zia.
