Homeopathy for crush injuries

Homeopathic Hypericum is the remedy to think of when you smash your finger or toe. I did this today when I dropped a metal bottle full of water on my toe, it went from throbbing to calmed down about 15 seconds after putting the pellet under the tongue. I don't use it often but I am thankful for hypericum!

Homeopathic Staphysagria is known to help the person who gets angry, annoyed or frustrated with people but keeps these emotions to themselves. Occasionally they may have an outburst of anger; throwing or slamming things. They may develop physical issues after being forced to do something against their will, after insult or from humiliation. They may have issues come up such as styes, chalazion (bump on eyelid), insomnia, UTI after in*******se, trembling or psoriasis.

Get to know homeopathic Cocculus.

Cocculus is not a remedy in typical home kits but it can be helpful for these specific indications.

Ailments from nursing a loved one. Ailments from worries and cares. Ailments from loss of sleep. Ailments from grief/ loss of a loved one. These issues that come up could include- Confusion, forgetful, feeling dazed, exhaustion, numbness, trembling, neurological issues, headaches, vertigo, sleeplessness. Parts of the body falling asleep. such as the legs or a hand.

Motion sickness- dizziness, headache, nausea, worse: fresh air, sitting up, looking out window. Better lying down. Dizziness watching moving objects such as out of a car window.

Vertigo- Severe vertigo, everything is spinning, must lie down, worse: motion, standing, sitting, rising, watching moving objects, alcohol, loss of sleep. Nausea with vertigo

Jet lag with exhaustion and dizziness. Helps the body adjust to new time zones.

Get to know Homeopathic Spigelia

Homeopathic Spigelia is know to help the most severe pains, the pains are often described as bursting, digging, pressure, sharp or piercing. Pains are worse motion and touch. This remedy is specific to issues that prevent on the left side.
For example-
Left sided headaches that involve the left eye or above the left eye.
Left sided facial neuralgia.
Left sided eye pain from iritis or glaucoma.
Left sided chest pains.

Recently this remedy helped a client who had unrelenting trigeminal neuralgia which had been present for 6 years, extremely painful even with taking medications. After 2 days of taking Spigelia she was pain free.

Get to know- Homeopathic Ranunculus.

This is a small remedy not typically needed in a home kit. But very useful if the symptoms fit.

Here are some of its indications-
- Rheumatic/ arthritic or neuralgic pains brought on by cold or damp weather.
- Intercostal neuralgia with sharp, stitching pain, especially in the left lower chest. Chest pains worse breathing in, worse lying on the painful side.
- Pain at the inner angle of the left scapula.
- Shingles- Especially in the areas around the rib cage, above the eye. Burning, itching ,small vesicles followed by hard crusts. Neuralgic pain following along the nerve path.

I used this remedy many years ago for a stitching pain on my right rear lower ribs. I had been having pain on and off for years which frequently 1prevented me from lying on my right side and that was felt especially on inhaling. After one dose the pain dissipated as the remedy was dissolving under the tongue and has never returned.

I have found that using homeopathy on plants for slugs, aphids, and transplant shock works very well!

Homeopathy for a tickling, irritating cough.

Rumex crispus is a top medicine for cough that is caused by an irritating, tickling feeling. The cough is usually dry and nonproductive but, if there is expectoration it may work if the cough is due to a tickling feeling. The cough may be aggravated by moving to an area of a different temperature; such as going from the warm inside air to the cold outdoors or vice versa. It is great for a dry cough that is worse- talking, lying down, breathing in, walking in the cold air or uncovering oneself. Rumex is not a remedy in most kits but, it is worth having in your remedy stock.
