Peninsula Family Osteopathy

Peninsula Family Osteopathy Dr. Yuliya ("Julie") Tsimring was born in Ukraine and raised in Central NJ. Today, Dr. Tsimring treats both adults and children. A.T.

She attended Montclair State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Community Health Education and Jewish American Studies. She then earned her medical degree at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Following medical school, she completed a residency in General Pediatrics at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. After practicing General Pediatrics for a few years, Dr. Tsimring recognized that something was missing - the approach of viewing the patient as a whole and complete being. Once Dr. Tsimring recognized this opportunity to transform her approach, she then completed a fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine/Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at Morristown Medical Center. She is the only physician in the state of New Jersey to be board certified in both General Pediatrics and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine/Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. In her free time, she spends time with her husband and three children, mostly chasing the kids and cleaning up messes. Still, the founder of osteopathic manipulation, taught that “to find the health should be the object of the doctor. Anyone can find disease.” In that vein, Dr. Tsimring’s goal is to assist the individual in finding their place of balance and comfort. This is achieved through gentle hands-on mobilization of all the body’s tissues - ranging from bone to ligament, fascia to muscle, and all others as well. Osteopathic Manipulation can be used to treat a large variety of bodily complaints, with some of the most common listed below. Babies:
Breastfeeding/latch issues
Torticollis (head tilt)
Plagiocephaly (flat head)
Reflux
Constipation
Craniosacral issues

New or expecting mothers:
Pregnancy issues - rib pain, lower back pain, tailbone pain, pelvic pain
Back pain due to nursing, carrying, etc
