A pain in the neck isn’t just a saying. Gallbladder 21 is located where we carry stress, screen time, and long hours of holding it together.
This point can be found at the highest point of the upper trapezius muscle and is often used for tech neck, shoulder tension, and headaches, by releasing the muscle and reducing stress.

*a key function of Gallbladder 21 is it’s ability to prepare the body for labor in expecting mothers nearing the end of their 3rd trimester, and promote lactation after birth for treating mastitis. For that reason we don’t needle this point or apply acupressure here when pregnant unless 37 weeks along.
